That's a great lens!

I just got a 28m non asph that is deadly. I love that and the 35mm Summarit asph.

I see you are in FL too...I'm moving to Port St. Lucie in a week or two.

Try the new Voigtlander 35 mm Nokton asph. III f 1.2. Worth its price and more.

Thanks Leinik, but I already have a Minolta M-Rokkor 40mm f/2 (the newer multi-coated version) so 35mm is not on list for now.
I do have a couple Voigtländer Nikon F-mount lenses for my Df (Ultron 40mm f/2 and Nokton 58mm f/1.4), both are great lenses.

Congratulations on the new lens for the M10. I am anxious to see your results though I already know they will be very good to spectacular. I have that lens and use it both with my M10 and an M6. I like it a lot.

The problem with the M10 is unless you are using the Visoflex, there is no frame for the 40 mm lens. Another one is that the lens is about 45 years old and designed for film (lower resolution and not as good a multi-coating layer as now, and I am not speaking of the design, technology has evolved a lot in 45 years, including in lens design).

Yes, no 40mm frame is offered and it calls up the 50mm frame, with is a pain. I would rather have the 35mm frame. I like 40mm and was considering the Voigtländer Nokton Classic 40mm f/1.4, but opted for the Minolta. Maybe I made a mistake.
