No offense taken. Please note, though, that I capitalized the first letter of the word "Picky" for emphasis. There are some people sitting around without MUCH to do. Note the work "MUCH" is capitalized for emphasis.

If someone has experience i would appreciate with an opinion on what color backdrop is best to drop out and replace with a digital background.

Which is the best choice: Green, Blue, Black, White or Gray ?? I have Black and White, and Muslim green, but eliminating the wrinkles is very difficult. The black and white are collapsible backgrounds and easier to use.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Savage makes 107" wide seamless paper backdrop. The key to avoid getting color contamination is to put a lot of distance between the subject and the backdrop. The color(s) you end up with will be determined by the colors in the subject.

Middle grey, use white and drop your background slightly out of your lighting and you have middle grey, use black and move your background slightly into your lighting and you have middle grey, purchase middle grey and you still have light to middle grey, easy to use your camera meter to center up exposure, even lighting no matter the color is the key, middle grey lets you use blend modes to drop the grey out

Thanks for your comments. That is pretty much what I had decided to do. I have a black and white collapsible backdrop and I know i can make it middle grey from the black or white. I have not done it before, but i am sure it will not be difficult. My problem in doing this is ambient light and the limited space in which I have to work If I could find a grey and another color like a light grey I would be willing to buy it to make the project easier. Thanks again for your help.

We have used savage papers for years, standards based on image required are 70-12 storm gray, 66-1253 pure white, and 20-1253 black, have fun!
