Here is a set of three of a very fit lass taken at the beach very early in the day at very low tide. These are a fallout from my search at the bottom of the barrel of 1976 to 1982 PlusX negatives. This lass has had other images posted earlier and I hesitated to post these because I wondered if perhaps they were more in the "snapshot" category. And yes, I consider the shadows and background pertinent. You decide, here they are, images of a pleasant-appearing young woman.
Please keep your comments relevant to the imagery. If so then I have a set if wimmenfolk tossing a frisbee. Go off course and I'm outta here right now.
Very nice again. I wouldn't have centered them as much. I see you crossed over to get both backlighting and front lighting. Long shadows very nice.
Beautiful set, love the long shadows that were cast. Thanks for sharing them.
She casts a beautiful long shadow in that early morning sun.
I go to the wrong beaches.

I was at the right beach... but I didn't have the courage to ask if I could take a photo.
It was Australia 1979 and I was on one of the islands of the Great Barrier Reef. While walking along the beach I came across two lovely young girls sitting naked on large pieces of driftwood. Lovely faces, beautiful figures, bronzed bodies without tan lines... they might even have been twin sisters (drool, drool). I can still picture the scene vividly in my mind. The two large dead trees were a few feet apart in a very shallow "V" with the girls lying on the trunks with feet toward each other. I can still imagine the shots I could have taken: the girls lying on their backs with knees bent; sitting facing each other; back to back; standing; silhouettes against the sun; or beach and water behind them... so many possibilities. My wife and I even struck up a conversation with the young ladies, but I just did not have the confidence to ask permission to shoot. Of course, it was the days of slide photography and I would not have "wasted" too many shots on a single scene.
Jim, all of your photos take me back to that moment, and I have to say a big THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES.

She was playing frisbee with a friend and I photographed her (with permission). She was thrilled to know that someone would be interested in photographing her (!!!). She asked if I would accompany her to the beach the following weekend to take pictures of her at sunrise. I agreed. (!!!) These are out-takes of those series. Sigh.

Especially like the first pose!
Love those shadows. Great shots
Lovely. And they have that "feel". Never to return. Thanks.

There could have been more light on the model's face in the first shot. Otherwise I love them all. All I really need is a beautiful naked woman on an appealing beach and I'm set for the day.
