Okay, now i am going to make you feel real bad. lol
I have eight zones on my sprinkler system. Every plant, shrub, rose bush, 12 hanging baskets and the lawn all are on sprinklers and drips. I lost count how many drip lines I have run. I actually drew a schematic where all the lines are. Over kill.
So after working for K2 I met my first wife and started a family. My daughter was probably four when she asked me if I was going to her birthday party? That was my come to Jesus moment. I spent so much time at work I wasn't watching the kids grow up. Time for a career change. I quit the TV station and looked for a job that was 8 to five and weekend off. Ended up working for a natural gas company. Stayed with them for just short of thirty five years.

Well... good for you for revamping your priorities. We don't get "do-overs" in the parenting department, do we? :-)

Do you have mole problems there? I've wondered if moles and voles would just tunnel along the drip lines and disrupt their effectiveness here. We've had such a problem with those over the past half decade or so. It would help if we had cats, but there are more predators in the neighborhood than when the kids were still at home and we had indoor/outdoor kitties.

I don't think a schematic is overkill at all. If you have to go back in and dig anywhere or service what's already there, it would be invaluable.

Sorry folks... for going off on the garden. I'm bracing for someone to yell at me for getting off topic. ;-)

My wife loves gardening. It is one of her many hobbies. On occasion she will ask me to photograph her flowers.
It's the best of two worlds. Her hobby and mine. Enjoy in download.

Great work from both of you. That is how I photograph flowers and bees and wasps- right into the midst of things!

Thanx for sharing!
