Man has made an impact on the natural environment. The Georgia Pines are fighting back.
Old Car City The vehicles, in various stages of decomposition, are only part of the lure. Blending in with the pines, oaks, moss and other vegetation, they generate stunning visuals.
Old Car City Images shared in this post come from an EOS 5DIII, with both the EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM and EF 50mm f/1.8. Processing in Adobe Lightroom v6 and Topaz Denoise v6.

Makes me want to get back over there. Thanks for sharing Paul
Sad that so much of the automotive excellence that fashioned the American Dream, has been relegated to the dust bin. Fitting memorial Paul.

Thanks to you Paul, I have that place on my bucket list. Maybe after I get vacinated for covid 19
Thank you SnappyHappy, Architect1776, Jan, PixelStan77! My IG stream makes it seem like they're open at OCC for Spring pics. I haven't been shooting that much new in 2020, but was surprised this morning I still have a lot of material from my 2019 travels. I had two great days at OCC, one day where I was their only customer for the entire day.
Real beauties. Would like to see these on Drift This.
I really enjoy your visits here and your perspective on the scene, Paul!
Great set Paul - a real grungy look.
Very nice images! OCC has been on my list for awhile now.
Very nice. My first car was a ‘49 Ford as in your first image but mine was a flat-head V8, not a straight 6.

So, that's what happened to my old '50 Ford.
An interesting series. Was it strange being there all by yourself? Thanks for sharing.
All these are nice, and that first Ford is excellent!
Nice images.... Would you believe I live about 30 miles south of there but have never been....
