We all use various web sites and email for sharing photos but such photos are usually (always?) JPEGs or TIFFs as required by the sharing sites and email limitations on file size. Does anyone use anything besides DropBox for transmitting RAW files? I need to get a bunch of RAW images from a family member so I can process them in Photo Raw before returning as JPEGS.

I use WeTransfer.com. I use the free version which is limited to 2 GB total.

I usually use Dropbox, but I have occasionally uploaded large files to my website and people can download them from there.
Both those sites hold the files "temporarily". I delete them after the transfer is made (assuming I remember to do so).
Raw, tiffs and jpegs are just files in this instance. Your limitation is how to transfer large files efficiently.
Electronically, any file transfer service, Dropbox included, can do that... otherwise you can just copy them to a physical holder... flash drive, card or a disc and mail or hand it off. I usually use my Adobe account and give the recipient a code to allow download and transfer

That won't work. Typical DSLR RAW images are 20-50Gb each and even larger.

I think you're confusing MB with GB

Sorry, I looked at a file folder instead of an individual photo in Finder.

Dropbox is fine. You can use the Photos folder option to create a subfolder with your files in it, right click on the folder and copy the link to it, and send that link to anyone. Once they receive the link they can use it to view a crude slide show if they are image files, or a list of raw files. They will also be able to download the files from that page.
My son sends me raw files via Google Drive, and I return jpegs to him as well.

I use WeTransfer.com (free - the only limit is 2GB), easy to use and it WORKS!

Dropbox and any other cloud service would work - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.

A few times I have worked with RAW files from someone else, but rarely. DropBox or other App. No real problems yet opening them with Ps or viewing thumbnail with Windows. Friends Nikon or Canon files fine too.

Try using the free version of Wetransfer.com You can send up to 2 gigs at a time.
Just drag and drop---really easy
I have used SendSpace for a long time. It's faster than Dropbox. I recently sent hundreds of raw files to a fellow who borrowed my cameras. While I cannot say it wasn't time consuming, it was do-able. Uploads do expire after awhile, so you need to make certain the recipient downloads them in a timely manner.
Gmail. If the file is bigger than 25 mb it will ask you if you want to use the Google drive for the transfer. The recipient gets access to the files on the sender's google drive.
