Very nice! It's like a portrait, like it was used to posing for bird lovers.
You may have mentioned it, but what camera were you used to, and what is your impression of how the D810 handles?

The main camera that I have been using is a Nikon D500. As far as how the D810 handles I can't really say because I have only taken a few pictures with it so far.

I managed to get this D810 with grip and two batteries along with these three lenses today, all for $1570.00 including tax.

I am one happy person. I picked these up at an estate sale today.

Highway robbery at it's best.

I call my d500 my little speedster with a little more reach, think you have a good combo

I will keep using the D500 also. I think it and the D810 will make an outstanding team!

Incredible, yet another 'grandpaw' bandit like myself:)
Just curious, were you allowed to test them first:)? I'm kidding, have bought many objects, and fine cameras/lenses from country auctions and estate sales. In the past 40 years, only one lens had a problem. Happy shooting:)

Yes, I took fully charged batteries with me and checked out the camera and lenses before purchasing anything. My D500,D600,and D7000 all use the same batteries. Everything is in like new condition. Don’t know if you saw the shutter count but it was 3,978
