This is a photo of Binder Lake in Jefferson City, MO. It's a panorama I did earlier this week. It has 72 photos
in the picture. It's just about a 180 degree view of the lake.
Pg 10 - WOW! Excellent work Rufe, on this pano! I started playing
around with panos last year, and the most I got was 7 or 8 frames
without having major PP problems. I'd love to be able to turn out
a beauty like this!

I just went back and did a "double" download of this image, and I
was floored by the detail that comes out when doing this. I'd strongly
recommend everyone take another look at this image and be sure to
hit the "download" button, and then when the image loads, click on it
and it will really enlarge.

It seems that playing around with PS filters is highly addictive....
The question of "How to spend lockdown" has now been answered !

Pg 10 - Awesome job on these, Kipper! What filters did you use?

Love #1 for color and delicate subject, Tim.
Pg 10 - Thank you so much, Markar for the kind words!
I was trying to make sure to capture the flowers of the
weeping cherry tree with strong backlighting, and I wound
up with 10 or so images before I got the one I wanted.
The wind was really moving those buds around, which made
it more difficult...thank goodness for DSLRs...lol

Another one from last summer.

These are great portraits, did you use any special lighting?

This is the rotunda in the Missouri State Capitol. Shot from the first floor and the second photo was taken from the second floor. The bright lights in the middle of the second photo are of TV lights. The Governor gives a daily press conference on the COVID-19 crisis in Missouri.
What a stunning combination of many artistic mediums.
From the last few days around the place.
Scallihan pg 8 Really lovely Iris!
Stash pg 7 Entertaining, good photos of a fun pastime!

Thanks Tim!
I merely followed someone elses' guide... if you Google "How to create abstract Twirl Art Effects in Photoshop" you should find the first result will point you to the same site - photos.essentials. This explains better that I ever could exactly what each step does.
Give it a try - it's as fun as it looks - but be warned that it is somewhat addictive
A few from the archives. I added a sepia tone to the Fordson, and a "dry brush" effect to the last one
