“The president is asking people to inject Lysol into their lungs.”
— Nancy Pelosi

Factcheck: No, Madam Speaker, the president did not urge Americans to “drink bleach” or inject Lysol into their lungs.

The President’s exact quote:

“So supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light, and I think you said that hasn’t been checked, but you’re going to test it. And then I said supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way, and I think you said you’re going to test that too. Sounds interesting. And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute, one minute, and is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning, ’cause you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it’d be interesting to check that. So you’re going to have to use medical doctors, but it sounds interesting to me, so we’ll see. But the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute, that’s pretty powerful.”

Gee, no mention of Lysol or bleach.

But the MSM believes it’s true, and that’s all that matters.

Meanwhile, speaking of bleach, this little story somehow slipped between the grates at CNN headquarters . . .

And they call Trump ‘dangerous’? Turns out, Chris Cuomo’s wife was bathing in bleach to fight coronavirus

“At the direction of my doctor, Dr. Linda Lancaster, who reminded me that this is an oxygen-depleting virus, she suggested I take a bath and add a nominal amount of bleach. Yes, bleach,” Christina Cuomo’s post reads.

Lancaster is not a doctor. She’s a self-described “naturopathic physician and homeopath” who boasts an ND and PhD, but not an MD. According to Jennifer Gunter, an actual doctor, Lancaster is known for spouting “nonsense,” not surprisingly.

I see now that the people who might attempt to drink Lysol or bath in bleach are exactly the people who warning labels are made for.

Yes, the transcript does show he used the word "disinfectant". The dictionary defines "disinfectant" as, "A substance that destroys germs". Hmm, could that have any relation to a disease we are fighting?

It was reported by a researching reporter that the man that drank fish tank cleaner was a mechanical engineer and very sharp. It turns out that his wife hated him enough to place the cleaner in his soda. The police are looking into charging her with murder. The main street media really got that one wrong. Without looking into what happened, the just "Blamed Trump".

Libs are stupid so let them do as they think the President said and good riddance.

I can't help wondering whether the bloke is a coke head. A lot of the symptoms are on public display.

Did you happen to actually read the comments from Trump? To me it sounds like he is being inquisitive as most of us might be and is asking about what will happen. Notice nothing about injecting or drinking bleach or even fish tank cleaner.

Once again or more accurately as ALWAYS since Trump’s inauguration you Left Wingers are taking Trump’s actual words and then twisting them or actually LYING to others about what was really said. You are lying and don’t have the decency or balls to tell the truth. I always wonder how good your agenda must be when it takes lies to achieve it. You are even worse than Trump. Sure he fudges the truth saying he is doing better than might be. Nonetheless his economy etc. is working. You are just plain liars for a corrupt cause. Not an insult, just plain true.

Hardly. Couldn't me more simple he's babbling again. Dribble... call it what you want. He needs a speech writer, like most leaders. It's very apparent he makes it up as he goes along, and it does him no favours.
