Yeah...I got one, then was hesitant to use it, because someone was likely to report a guy with a shoulder-fired missile!
This from a neighborhood where someone saw a fellow carrying a shotgun from his truck, parked in his friend's driveway (Which, in all fairness, was within a couple hundred yards of an Elementary School) into the friend's house in preparation for the upcoming pheasant season! Cops, swat team, etc.
Yet another: At my work, I had dealings with a man who had convinced himself that he had a beef against State Government. His ex-wife had seriously done him wrong, With resulting dealings with law enforcement. The agency issued a poster, warning of potential danger. He seemed to be a nice guy,( my conclusion)but unstable. He didn't threaten me, probably due to the Highway Patrol Officer I had standing at our reception desk, abut 20 feet away during our conversation. To shorten this, I took a poster home, and put it on the wall beside our phone, and warned my wife that this was no joke...if he showed up at our house, DON"T let him in, but call 911 immediately!
A woman, a member of our church, was visiting, and saw the poster. The word quickly was spread that I carried a gun for my work. NOT true! But...the story persisted for years. I found out much later when the woman's husband (also friend) let it slip one day.
Another woman had lunch at our house, saw the poster, and asked;"Is that real?"Oh yes...it was very real for several months.

Does anyone remember the movie How to Kill Your Wife with Jack Lemon and his butler/assistant Terry Thomas? Jack has an action/adventure comic strip and acts out the scenes he wants to draw. His assistant follows him around New York shooting photos from which to create the drawings. The camera is on a gun stock. Very funny movie.

Is this how you shoot BIF?
Now I get it, why TSA wants to go through camera bags. 😊
I remember the gunstocks, Porter Camera used to sell them along with just about anything else you could name or imagine for photography, I sincerely miss them.
So they can shoot good pictures.
Should be able to get killer photos with that.

I missed it at first glance.
One of my carry on bags once had a Slik pistol grip in it. When it went through the x-ray I was asked what it was and I told them it was a pistol grip. After explaining its use, I was asked not to call it that in the future.
