Number three for me - well taken.
Nice shots. Brings back memories of years past.
How is the fishing on the Owens River these days? Back in the 70s and early 80s that was some of the finest brown trout fishing in the US.
You may have driven me to pull out some old pics taken with my trusty Pentax MX slr some 30-35 years ago. Stopping at Brocks Sporting Goods to load up the cricket cage and then off to Five Bridges Rd east and west along the Owens was a very special fishing experience back in the day.

Hello Rick. Bishop hasn't changed much. Lot's more tourists and fishermen opening day and more skiers for Mammoth. Other than that about the same. Brocks closed a few months back.Five Bridges is one of my favorite picture taking places. If you want to see pictures of this area go to my site on redbubble. Type in my name Marilyn Diaz at the site and it will take you to my site. Nice hearing from you.
Yeh, nothing like those cottonwoods & aspens in fall there in Gods country. Think maybe I'd like to spend my last days around the eastern escarpment of the Sierras, maybe Lone Pine to Bishop area. Love that Temple Crag view from over the Independence Pass reflecting in the tarn below the Palisade Glacier. Too memories of Climbing Mt. Whitney and Charlot Dome. Spend hours wandering through Galen's Gallery there in your town. Should be gettin' some nice fall colors soon. Thanks for the few photos to remind me. Gene C.
Nice series Marilyn. I haven't been up that way in almost 30 years, but after looking at your photos I'm thinking I should get up that way again soon.
