So far as I can tell, they were still hanging out waiting for proof of Spring, Susan.

These are really nice, Mike. You've captured the flows really well.

Kind of you to say, Kathy, I really like the mountain streams.

Really nice set Mike. One of the few things I miss in southern Arizona is running water

Perfect shutter speed. In fact, in my view, the images are perfect in every way. It's like I'm right there

I appreciate those comments, Alan, obviously I agree. Everyone has a view concerning what makes the best picture of running water.

Thanks, Jack, for commenting. As you can see, these streams really attract me.

Our temperatures are finally in the 70s in the valley, so the Spring thaw is beginning. This was a good excuse to get out of the house and enjoy the beautiful day. The idea to get out came late so these shots are mid-day and the light is harsh.

I really like our streams when the thaw is working. As you can tell, I concentrated on the flow. This flow is not at peak because I am early and this year's snow pack is about 100" less than last year.

In PP I worked with various portrayals of the streams and water. Your comments and suggestions, as always, are welcome.

I used the Zeiss Batis f/1.8, 85mm on the first shot, but reverted to my Sony 24-70mm for the rest.

Oh I like this set Mike, reminds me opening Sierra trout season! High water, probably too early but it is the beginning of new year of fishing.

Nice series of water shots. Best thing I like about them is seeing real water vs silk milk.

Perfect stop of the water movement. Too often folks will slow it to the point it looks like ice. Yours is perfect!

Very kind of you to say. I just try to record what I saw, I am clearly not artistic.

I think you're wrong. I find these very artistic.

Nice images, and nice to see another person who is drawn to the magic of a flowing stream. Thanks for sharing.
