Have any of you noticed that cheap shot's come 95% from the left.
I see them (cheap shot and inflamatory rhetoric) from both sides, no one side has a majority on this. We all have to look at everything and read and check out the data and the facts, best we can, and decide what we feel is truth. I hear great stuff from the right, the left and the MOR's, and I hear some really dumb stuff from the same places too....
In this day of instant visual and audio teleplay, we can all see and hear actions our leaders take, and we can see it on multiple networks and channels/internet and written publications, the live stuff can be viewed on multiple stations/networks at the same time, making it much easier to determine if anyone is "making things up/slanting one way or the other, or if something has been mis-stated, mis-reported.
Statements and news in a situation such as we have should be well written/spoken, measured, rehersed if necessary, and stated carefully. Millions of folks may be hanging on the very words a politician, or med pro, business pro utters....not a time for jokes, or sloppy speaches, rantings/blame games, etc. etc. Time for responsible, carefully preparred, fact infused statements.... no guessing, no postulating, just good solid fact, and any stated facts should have reference as to where/when they originated.
The bigest thing this pandemic has shown me is that a quick, measured response would have served us all much better. We didn't err on the side of safety soon enough. We will (as a population) continue to suffer the tribulations that open international travel and tourism bring to us..... We all (all 50 states/territories) need each other, red states need blue states, blue states need red states, for our system to work (just take a look at the GDP/GNP by US States, to see how). We all need help, we all deserve help, we all need to help, we all need to try our best to get over this and find some semblence of normal again. We all need to be as responsible for ourselves and our actions as we can be. Take action, and be responsible, take care and treat each other well, give the benefit of doubt until you know the truth, then adjust accordingly.
Be safe, take care, respect and help each other, and hope for a normal world again.
