I just don't want a surge in infections and death that would cripple the economy despite good economic intentions. Honestly, I want the country to heal, and I don't need a civics lesson to feel that.
I am not alone in questioning the danger of prematurely opening the economy, resulting in an infectious surge.
When people are healthy, a sound economy will follow. If people are not healthy, the economy will suffer.

I understand we need sound reasoning in order to open up for business again. Some folks say we need to stay closed until there is a vaccine readily available. However, science has been working on an AIDS vaccine for the last 40 years. We will not survive that economically. Some say we need to stay closed until we’re sure there will be no more deaths. That is not a sustainable option whatsoever. Let’s face it. People die. They always will. But to think that we need to stop the economy until science can guarantee no more deaths is foolish. At some point, we’re going to have to make the decision to reopen businesses. And I think the sooner, the better. Models predicting 20,000,000 American deaths have been shown to be absurd. The numbers are dropping daily. I think Trump is correct in letting the governors make the decisions on reopening shuttered businesses. Otherwise, the first person that dies of COVID 19 after we reopen will have the libs and the media screaming it’s Trump’s fault for reopening too soon. At least now it will be each governor’s problem, not Trumps.

The virus has not gone away—there is good reason to believe that when social distancing is relaxed, an acceleration of infections, and the resulting deaths will logically occur.
That will trigger the need for another lock down which will be worse for the economy than the initial lockdown.
As I said, the economy needs to be opened. But, with a structured national plan directed to the governors involving testing, identifying low risks and high risk individuals, and systematically letting low risk individuals start the process.
Because the virus seems unreal to many people, without some unified structure on returning to business, people will soon abandon precautions, disregard what will protect them; and the still present virus will resurface deadlier than before.
With a possible unemployment rate of 20% to 25% as things are now, and no vaccine for 18 months, the future looks bleak, almost impossible in the next few years.
I hope to God that my thoughts are overreaction, but the sky IS falling—while our leadership is truly in the weeds.

The Australian Government is promoting a new app, COVIDsafe. It is voluntary. Nearly two million people have installed it on their phones over the last two days since it was made available for download. A person's privacy is ensured in new federal legislation. If you come into close range of someone who is carrying the virus you will be contacted and requested to get yourself tested. I have installed it on my phone. It works through blue tooth. And, no, it is not accessible to the NRA

So people are going to volunteer to be monitored, and their privacy is safe. But they let you know if you have come in contact with someone with the virus.
You have given up your privacy just by using this app.
This should be obvious to anyone who wants to see. This is an engineered preplanned police state.

Personal privacy is no longer an option.
One cannot stop what is coming.

You’re probably right. I’m just not going willingly. I pray that I won’t bow to an ungodly system of tyranny. Especially if it comes down to being forced to take a mark on my right hand or forehead in order to survive.

“Ungodly system of tyranny”
Trump won’t permit that here—he is making America great again, or has he given up on that promise?

If he is re-elected I believe he will try to slow it down as far as the US is concerned. But after Trump all bets are off.

Privacy is never ensured. Ever.

He’s far more respective of civil liberties during emergency than FDR.

I’m not trying to be a jerk off. Read that Bible verse I posted. They are trying to implement a system of total control. Where they know your every move. It looks there is a very strong possibility of a cashless society. Where if you aren’t wired into the system digitally you are shut off.
They want total and complete control and obedience

Enough cut and paste crap. Answer the question.
