@ Kmgw9v the reason I asked your ageis because I’m thinking you may have been a young man in the 60’s. I have a strong feeling that there is no way that the young lefties of the 60’s would have stood for this.

Look at the stats of this disease it does not warrant this much control.
This is much biggest than Trump. What’s your age may I ask not trying to be snide

Who is so much bigger than Trump that “they” are controlling him? I thought he was/is the epitome of Presidential control. Who is really in charge, if not our President and the Republican senate?

I am currently a healthy 68 years of age, with a respectful understanding of my quick demise if I get infected.

Stood for what exactly? You mean government control over peoples rights?
If that is your objection, you should reconsider your vote for Trump. He is, and has been the man for three years.

You’re quote below
Yes exactly govt control over peoples rights.
These draconian measures the surveillance
they are talking about. These are individual governors and municipalities doing this.

Well... all I can say is... Trump ought to tell those governors who’s the boss. Not the Constitutional state’s rights boss, but the real man-in-control, honest to God boss.

Did he say he strongly disagreed and was angry at Kemp for opening up Georgia?
You want it both ways, and Trump does not know what he wants.

I can’t comment because I didn’t run across any information regarding Georgia.
But what I do remember is the states balking when he said he wants the lockdown to end.
But that’s neither here nor there. It’s up to us the help them him change their minds with a little civil disobedience.
So then are you agreeing what we are going through with the masks the lockdown all this social distancing is a bit much.

A premature reopening of businesses and a relaxing of social distancing may very well result in a surge of infections, and subsequently more deaths. Trump has conveniently shifted these decisions to the states, even though he very much wants the reopening. Now, when the virus deaths do increase, he can blame the states for not adhering to his guidelines. He is a man without realistic solutions, but will be quick to seize the opportunity to blame others, shirking all responsibilities of his office.
At this tragic time, it is a shame we don’t have a leader with an effective plan.

It appears that you don’t like what is going on in this country, but you are unable to assign any responsibility for what you find distasteful to your hero.

No my friend, not true at all. I do like much about what is happening in America especially before the virus started. I just know there is plenty of blame to throw around. But from your side of the aisle it ONLY gets directed toward Trump. Should a Trump have replenished the supplies that OBAMA failed to replenish? Of course he should have. I suspect had someone in charge of that department let him know about the shortage he would have had that person order some. Let’s be honest. You don’t really think Trump should have wandered around counting ventilators and masks do you? He has people that are paid to do that. Yes so did OBAMA but the minuscule difference is OBAMA had used them on his watch. Shouldn’t he have known of the shortage?

But let’s not forget Cuomo of NYS. He knew of his shortage but spent the money on something else. Isn’t it his fault? But my point again is all this blame to go around but tell me of a Liberal who blames anyone but Trump.

But let’s give Trump credit for the low percentage of deaths compared to other countries. Any takers? Nope, not from the Left. That is my point.

Of course a Trump is fallible and capable of failing. Who wouldn’t know that. Since before his inauguration the Left has beaten that fact into the minds of the world population. With every single thing Trump has done there were your friends telling us this won’t work, people will starve, NK will nuke us, the economy will fail, war will break out, no wall will be built. And YET not one of those predictions has come close to being true. The American Liberals have beaten the failure drum for so long that it is true Trump may not get a lot of respect from other countries. But of course other countries are now benefiting from Trump’s policies.

Perhaps my friend it is every Liberal in America who just doesn’t get it.

A premature reopening of businesses and a relaxing... (show quote)

We will kindly disagree

I thought Trump was, but I guess I over estimated him.

Who is in control of this country right now today?

Wait. Wait. Wait. I must be missing something.
You say the “state” has done this. Who is that?
Trump has been President for over three years, the Senate is controlled by Mitch, and the Supreme Court has five conservative justices.
So despite Trump, how has the “state” manipulated this situation in an attempt to control the citizens?
Until the virus, Trump was “winning”?
