I'm not usually a "Shades of Gray" guy, but I like your second shot here. Still like the color version better, though.
Both of these photos are beautiful!
Outstanding images. Definite wall hangers !!
Magnificent scenery well captured!!

That is a beautiful waterfall, beautifully captured. Thanks for sharing.
The colors in the water make the color photo my favorite. There is nothing wrong with the monochrome, except it lacks color.

My husband and I go up to Canada every two years for the Mine Rescue Competition. We always drive so we can enjoy the country and stop for photos. This is the Lundbreck Falls on the Crows Nest river.
Beautiful photo; I prefer this one over the B&W. We apparently drove right past it in 2011 without realizing it was there. We were on a 14 day, 4,100 mile road trip that included Sisters OR, then Kelowna BC, Banff-Jasper then down to Whitefish MT, then home via the Columbia River Gorge. One day we took a drive from Whitefish north and then east on the Crowsnest Highway to Waterton Lake and took the cruise on the lake. Then it was south to Babb MT for lunch then west on the Going to the Sun Road through Glacier to Whitefish. It was a long, but spectacular day of about 350 miles with a lot of oohs and ahhs.
