After spending the bulk of two days getting my grandson caught up on distance learning that we both missed this week I was very much in need of getting outside this afternoon.
For most the only processing was what LR 5.7 did creation the jpg file. These are very high contrast since most were in direct sun around 4:00.
Our neighbor hood is good about posting signs along the main street through the area. This week they put out signs for health care providers, postal workers and delivery persons.

Are these considered to be examples of macro photog. or just great closeups?

These are close up images, for them to be macro they would need to be 1:1 on the sensor. For instance if my camera's sensor was one inch wide a one inch object would fill the width of the image recorded. That said, I find macro to have a loose interpretation these days with the wide range of sensor sizes. For many of the smaller sensors an insect might completely fill the frame, while using an 8X10 view camera a persons face filling the frame might meet the definition.
Thank you for using "great" in your reply.
