Cough, cough... hack, ahem.

OK, just caught my breath back. I think we should agree to revisit this notion about a decade after Trump's final term. I hope we are both still alive then.

So you said nothing.

Well, your friend LoonyWonkWonk would have no trouble concluding that I think Trump is the absolute worst president the US has ever had.

I wasn't asking for examples of Trump's indecency, and Dave's example didn't even show Trump in a bad light, unless you think that determining someone's ethnic background is indecent. I am asking for examples of prominent people criticizing Trump's behavior. And nobody is providing any. I think that pretty much says case closed unless someone can find a credible clip.

It doesn’t matter. This was all about an exaggeration in an opinion piece. It doesn’t matter.
Trump is what he is.

You don't like it when people post about the facts either. Have we hit your 5,000 deaths mark yet? Do you still predict everything will be back to "normal" by the end of April? And, you accept no responsibility for promoting false hope.

You sure have a hair up your but. This has nothing to do with the conversation.

If it will make you happy, the death toll from the Chinese Flu is currently at 37,000 people in the U.S. I sure hope everything will be back to normal by the end of April, otherwise we will sink into another Great depression. And my responsibility for promoting false hope? Guilty as charged. Now, again if it will make you happier, I now predict that we are all gonna die horribly grotesque deaths in poverty. You should feel better now.

Now how about commenting on the current opinion piece?

I guess you couldn't find any examples either.

Trump did have his name on an Indian Casino in Southern Ca.

I'm sure someone here will call that racist.

That is not a very good example at all of somebody criticizing Trump before he ran for President. Your example is a single Democrat Congressman attempting to undermine Trump because the Congressman voted to let Indians set up casinos tax-free while forcing Trump to pay tax for his casinos.

Note that the real criticism comes from the MSNBC host and the Indian activist in the 2016 video while Trump was running for President.

For some reason you opted to make a political statement with your reply, when you specifically asked for an example prior to his presidency. "It was met to demonstrate an act that caught the displeasure of many who despise ethnic slurs..." The remark was quite clear that he was referencing tribal members with Black lineage. Not my interpretation, but rather quite clear at least to many Ct residents at that time. BTW, what was his party affiliation at that time. "The 1990s were shaky for Trump and his allegiance to the Republican Party. When he attended a Democratic congressional dinner in 1993, a reporter asked him if he considered himself a Democrat.
Trump shrugged and said, "Pretty much."

Yet another supremacist view of him and many of his supporters.

So, only name calling and. Insults. The article must be true that it triggers certain folks to attack. The article threatens evil. It does not threaten decent folks.

Don’t blame yourself. On January 22, 2020, Trump said everything was in control (with respect to the virus).
You should not take the responsibility of Trump’s irresponsibility, lack of foresight, and stupidity upon yourself .

So you honestly think Biden would do; would have done a better job.

I think Buchanan would have done a better job and he's dead.

Again, where was the condemnation of Trump prior to his candidacy? There was nothing in that video about "many people in Connecticut thinking Trump was a racist." I don't even know where you got that from, or the line "It was met to demonstrate an act that caught the displeasure of many who despise ethnic slurs..." And what ethnic slurs are you talking about? There wasn't even a hint of any such thing in the historical part of the video except by the MSNBC host and the Indian Activist in 2016, which is par for the course.

Thank you for relieving that heavy burden from my shoulders. (just kidding)

I don't say this kind of thing often, but thom is just an idiot who just likes to make himself feel better by trying to pound on me. My life is not shattered by it.

I (honesty) think almost any public servant who cares about the welfare of this country more than himself, his inflated ego, and his prospects for re-election, would have done better.

That includes many Republicans—Marco Rubio and many others.
