Very nice photos, Chief! All good, but #1 is my favorite. You have really been getting around, so Covid-19 restrictions must be cramping your style. At least you have time to post all those great photos you took BC. (Before Covid)
Cheers,
Don

Thank you, Don. Yeah, we have been Sheltering-In-Place here at the RV park where we spent the winter. We were supposed to leave April 1st but...I'm thinking travelling in an RV is the definition of non-essential travel, so we have decided to stay here for the duration. Better safe than sorry.

I didn't know there were such things as forest giraffes. Learn something every day on this site!

I don't think they are "forest giraffes", I just caught them in a small forested area. I'm sure they stray out into the grasslands and scrublands as well. I have lots of shots of giraffes in the grasslands, I just think they look better in the forest. It's easier to get photos of them there without having a lot of empty sky around their heads. Especially if you can find a rise to observe them closer to eye level and a bit further away to minimize the angle looking up. I guess, looking back, the lead in was a little misleading. I meant to say these are more photos of the giraffes that I found in the forest.

Know why a giraffe's neck is so long? Because his head is so far from his body.

Sorry, an old Dad Joke that many will not find funny. But I like Dad Jokes.
