It is according to the calendar, any how. Which, naturally, --after some pretty balmy weather these past few weeks-- means that there's a freeze watch on for tonight. (RATS! And my apple tree had just begin to flower for the very first time a couple days ago, too!) No snow yet, though. That'll probably happen next week.

It is after March 20th and before June 21st so it's spring in the northern hemisphere, regardless of the local weather. Here is southeast Pennsylvania we just had one of the mildest winters I remember, but it was still winter.
I truly hope the weather there improves soon. By the way, nice photo of the heavy snowfall.

Snowing and blowing in Northeast NY this is getting old , went out to fill my feeders sun is out its chilly but sunny went in for food came out 2 minutes later dark clouds and SNOWING!! i was like what the ####! 15 minutes later we have sun and clouds no snow..UUUGGGHHH everyone will need a vacation when this weather and virus crap is done,But we are lucky we are not having the tornados like they are down south , I have my health home and family so i am luckier than those who have lost all that to the tornados and who have lost loved ones to the virus!! Which here in New York is very bad so everyone stay SAFE

Same thing here in Florida. I am sitting by the pool as it is going to be 90 today. Cannot mow my lawn because my mower is at the shop for repairs and no repair people are at work. Oh yes, it is supposed to be windy today, so pretty much the same issues as New York and Minnesota!
