Should We Take a Hate-Trump Break this Month?

I edited this following thoughts sent to me by a friend. I took out all religious aspects of some of his thoughts. See if this still makes any sense.
Imagine we're All on a plane and this plane is being flown by the one person you dislike most on the entire planet!!! Then, suddenly, the plane starts to go down. You have a choice to make:
A.) Continue screaming, hating, criticizing, throwing roadblocks, and using this situation as a weapon against this person forcing him to defend himself as he tries everything in his power to save himself and you and everyone else on that plane from certain destruction.
or
B.) Try something different. Stop hating for just a minute. Stop screaming and criticizing and obstructing just to be resisting. Perhaps, hope that this man succeeds. Maybe you might try hoping like your life and the lives of those you love depend on it.
In fact, this isn't an appeal to hope, is it? More like logic and common sense to me.

Pelosi prays for him as many others do no matter what our political views are. Hater is a strong word that does not need to be used because of a difference in views. Show me a post that says "I hate Ttrump." Lets take a break in calling people who do not agree with you Haters. - Dave

I like to cite the banter between the just-shot President Reagan and his surgical team. Reagan said “I sure hope you are Republicans” and the surgeon replied “today we are all Republicans”.
To me, that is the American sentiment. We used to agree on goals and disagree on tactics, but now the two camps have to behave like 2-year-olds being forced to share just to get a pandemic funding bill passed. And everyone knew it was a non-negotiable need. I hope the media does two things. First, just report facts without spin. Second, choose to express hope instead of dread. Hell, I’ll settle for either of those.
