I'd miss the outdoors, too, rg. Or I would if Utah --omigod! what???-- had any sort of mandatory 'stay at home' thing going on like virtually everywhere else. Regardless, 95% of my time has been spent at home --as if the weeds in my yard --which this time of year are indeed growing like weeds-- needed digging out or anything as silly as that.... so I'm not complaining.

All the same, I've seen some of the stuff you've shot, I assume, from your deck or yard or somewhere really close to your door and that bottle of whatever it might be that's worth taking the occasional nip of, and while it may not be Death Valley or where ever, its outside and pretty doggone ok, too. Hang in there sir.

Excellent suggestion

Love the second and all of its drama. The light foreground of the first is a bit too dominant for me. Since I have the same restriction as you, I probably would have stood on top of the Jeep and perhaps have used a slightly longer lens.

I like the "frog" in #2.

The two images were shot within a mile or so of each other, five or ten minutes apart. The brighter of the two (#1) is looking south; the darker (#2) is looking west. I'd have lingered longer in the canyon, but considering the potential for rain --and oh, yes, it did rain-- it seemed a good time to find some pavement again.

Jim, excellent pair and the darker one sure did show the storm that was coming.

I suppose I could state the reasons behind my choices (in either, but mainly in the second of the shots), but they'd matter only to me, and probably not to you. Tell you what, though, I'd be glad to provide you with directions to the location, and you can shoot it for yourself as you'd prefer to see it shot.

Both are excellent and well composed, Cany. Good time to leave.

Another great offering. Jim, I'm not one of those people who can see Christ in the cornbread, or was perhaps it was a tortilla, but when I looked at your second image, I swear that outcropping on the left looks like a bullfrog. He is squatted, looking toward the center of the photograph. You can even see the outline of his mouth and his eye. Or at least I can.

Dang it, Rodeo! I was hoping everybody'd see that pile of rocks like I did, as a Christ in the corn bread.

Back to the drawing board, I guess. (Where the heck did I put that cornmeal...…?

Your reasons might matter to me. Besides, I have neither a Jeep nor a license to drive.
