The commercial was always on when I watched a western. Can’t remember if it was Gunsmoke, Paladin or The Rifleman with Chuck Conners.

I just found that some of the original Death Valley Days TV shows are on YouTube. I just watched 2 episodes....enjoyed watching how TV used to be...will watch more.

I was stationed at Edwards AFT twice, which is very near Mojave. My daughter and her husband lived in Boron, CA hich was a town on trail and a camp for the wagon crews. Thanks for sharing.

My Mom worked, as an RN, at Boron Hosp. when my Dad was stationed at Edwards.

I just found the show on a cable channel I don't watch much, one episode per day. I'm glad this thread came up as I'm now getting to enjoy them again.
