Before I say anything I want to share my heartfelt sorrow for all who have or are suffering through these unprecedented times.
My wife and I were in Atlanta and Savannah, Ga. This was mid March and most everything we had planned on doing had either shut down or was cancelled. So we went to plan B. We did a self guided tour of both cities. Then our kids called and said they wanted us home. So we flew home early. When we went through TSA, we were the only ones in line. Now that was crazy. Atlanta, a city of over 6 million people was like a ghost town. We went to Centennial Olympic Park, site of the 1996 Olympics. A tourist attraction any other time had maybe a handful of people there. In my other life as I call it, I worked for a ABC affiliate. A TV station in Portland, Oregon. Back when we shot film. I though touring CNN would be interesting. It was closed for tours. NASCAR is big in Atlanta... cancelled. Well, you get my point. Oh well, maybe another day.
