Posting for fun, not quality, just a couple old slides from the 70's. Can't buy this at Disney or Universal....

First is a photo of imho an 8 ticket ride, 280 feet, 0-150 mph in 3 seconds, its a real hoot and a kick in the pants. Second picture is the same photo reduced to showing what it looks like at night, IF you have a moon and clear skies. Totally, totally black if overcast and at 0200 in the morning. That is 20 ticket ride into the black.... :sm02

The return is even more exciting and more tickets if you can believe it....

Did the Radar/Navigator get a black eye in the A-6 during these launches? ChiefRob

Oh so very fun!!!! Never had a front seat ride, I was always in the back of a C-2 either coming or going to support fleet ops.

Thanks for the awesome pic!

P.s. Is that the right seat of an EA-6?

Neat photo, routine for our great pilots of today.....but you all realize that many on this site have no clue when you say "E" ticket ride....that was way before their time.

Do you remember Navy Night? You didn't have to choose which E rides you were going to do.

👍No amount of E-tickets could pay for either going or the return.
