This is the most photographed lighthouse in the country. I used a 150 mm lens on my Hasselblad 500cm film camera 400 asa and a light red filter to try and add contrast to sky and lighthouse....so do you know which lighthouse and also any input on the image.....good health to all Richard
No, but Google did.
Excellent density.
whats so spectacular about that.
I'm going to go with Portland Head Light on Elizabeth island Portland Maine. Even if it's not, it's an wonderful photograph and enjoyed your work.
Excellent shot Richard. Have no idea as to which lighthouse it is. Very nice dof and the clouds really add a lot to the photo. Mahalo for sharing.

Why not post some of your images and show us how it’s done?
Yes , it is the Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth Maine,in the Fort Williams Park near where I live. I dont know why it is the most photographed lighthouse in the country . And perhaps it isn't so spectacular , as Gene 58 said (or you may have been referring to my photograph) but a lot of people go there. unfortunately the park is closed down now because of pandemic. The challenge up here in New England during winters is that there are a lot of medium gray tones in a short dynamic range so making photos with contrast is sometimes trying.
Thanks all for your input Peace Richard

Compositionally it is good, but too closely cropped for my taste. I always like LH's to show a little more surroundings. I have shot many in Ca, and some on the east coast.
Portland Head Light light on Cape Elizabeth in Maine.
I like everything about this image except that it reminds me I have not been there in over ten years. Maybe August for Lobster fest. Best wishes to all.
