I find AI Sharpen - stabilize and sometimes focus really useful for wildlife. If the bill, second eye or second subject is a bit different from the plane of focus, this will usually correct it or improve it. Once in awhile it creates too many artifacts or fringing. I think the tutorial that is coming up will offer some tips on that. I don't need/use it as much as AI Clear.
I am using AI. I find that it will not convert DNG files. Checked with customer servive and told my computer will not handle DNG files. Program works OK with TIF files. Happy with performance.
Topaz has updated AI. It will now handle DNG files.
My error topazAI will convert not convert DNG files. My computer still won't handle DNG files.
I think Sharpen AI is a great product. I use my own sharpening technique about 90% of the time but when a photo is just slightly out of focus Sharpen AI can save the day. It has 3 modes - sharpen, stabilize and focus. I end up using stabilize the most. Highly recommend the product. Easy to use, slow on an older computer but well worth it. Download the trial and try it.

How does a computer not handle DNG files? They are just files and the computer doesn't care what's in the file.
Now if you say that the software you are using will not handle DNG files, then that is a more true statement.
You do need to try and check out the videos on Utube. I downloaded the trial and have found it saved some good shots that I did not quite get. Now, I got them.
I previously purchased a suite of Topaz products. Rarely used it. But I had a photo I liked that was a bit too fuzzy to submit for consideration in my local club’s monthly contests. Nothing in LR, PS or Topaz could fix it. So I downloaded a trial version of Topaz AI. It did fix the problem. The photo, IMO, is now viable. I then went to purchase Topaz AI and was pleased to learn that I was eligible for a free upgrade! I’d post before and after pics but am in Covid19 lockdown away from away from my computer working on an IPAD. Yes, I have cloud based backup but it’s a pain to download at speeds where I am.
