I generally sharpen my photo's as the last step using a high pass method. I see many members here use the Topaz AI sharpen and most have good comments about it. Is it worth it to get involved with? A big learning curve? Any comments appreciated. I use several Topaz products with very few complaints. Just started using DeNoise AI and love it.

Probably the best way to judge for yourself: download the trial software and try it.

I tried the trial and liked the result compared to Lightroom sharpen technique. I bought it.

I have it, it was recently updated also. I think it is amazing. It is quick for me, but I gave a fast gaming computer. Some say it is slow. But I still think it would be worth it.

I've had very good results with it. The free trial version will give you a feel for how it works.

If you are using DeNoise AI, it will not be much different in using. The 30 day free trial will give you more than enough time to make up your mind. I started using both in December, and on some images they work well. At this point in my journey, I use Denoise much more than Sharpen. I'm still learning. You can get a 15% discount by using a link from many existing customers. (including me by PM)

YouTube will more than likely have some videos about the product. To echo what has already said. Try the free trial.

I downloaded the trial version of Sharpen AI and I only used it for 72 hours. Some images improve their sharpness with the program but using AI Clear to me offered similar results. For some blurred shots Sharpen AI can save the day but I do not have many of those.
Your Denoise AI has AI Clear incorporated in the software. That is what I use and it sharpens my files to my satisfaction. Topaz has many tutorials and some of them illustrate the use of Denoise AI explaining how to use AI Clear.
I decided that Sharpen AI was not for me since AI Clear does a great job. If anything needs further sharpening I use the Sharpening Tool selectively in Affinity Photo, also available in Photoshop.

Ditto here. I also have the older Detail, newer Adjust and Mask AI. I am constantly impressed by how easy they are to use and how well they can help. I have my Topaz products setup as plugins to Corel's Paintshop Pro. The results are great. But like any software there are also those times where you can over do it and the processing is detrimental to the image. Try it, you'll like it.

NO, not a big learning curve, when I downloaded Topaz it was added to my filter list automatically in Photoshop. You can do automatic or manual, just like everything else in Photoshop, when given the option, I like to go manual. Anyway, Topaz gives you a before and after image, so as you do the sliders, you can see the effect in real time and see how it compares to the original image. You can move the cross hairs around to enlarge any part of your original image for your comparison, I usually want to see the face and part of the background when using it for wildlife. Yes, it works fine, I use it on Jpeg. without any issues what so ever.
And yes, I got it when it was on sale. It does take time once you push the button to finish but it is well worth the wait. Good luck and keep on shooting until the end.
