Starlings are very aggressive and a very invasive bird. They attack birds that have nests in tree and cliff cavities such as woodpeckers, titmouse and purple martins just to name a few. They have caused significant damage to these birds populations. Nasty bird. But you did get some really good photos of it.

Nicely done images of a male starling. This time of year the males get that nice color that changes with the light.
