Jules Karney Loc: Las Vegas, Nevada

Yesterday I just had to get out of the house. So I go downtown (haven't been down there in years) to take some photos. Town is quiet and eerie.
Nikon D4 and D500, 24-70 2.8 and kit lens 18-55.
White balance set to sunny, iso auto.

Be safe, be healthy..

Great series! Man, I’ve never seen Las Vegas so vacant. It’s eerie.

Eerie is right Richard, like you see in the movies just before a bomb goes off.

Really nice shots Jules, The Black and White photos remind me of the movie "On the Beach" when the US Submarine comes into an empty San Francisco.

I have never seen Las Vegas like that. This pandemic will cause a tremendous impact in the world economy.

Good to see you are doing some shots. Excellent as always. Gives good idea of what Vegas looks like. Hang in there my friend. Please be safe and do all the things to keep you and your wife safe. We still don't have any hand sanitizer here or wipes. The damn hoarders have taken it all and stores can't seem to get any. GOD bless and keep in touch.

Very nice series Jules. NYC streets are eerily empty as well, like something in a post-apocalyptic movie .

Is there a story about the building in that first image?

Wow!
Think of all the money being lost by the casinos--and saved by the patrons.
