Actually the need for toilet paper with an asteroid touching down makes sense. Coronaviris not so much!

It would be funny if it wasn't true.

Went to the store today. Most things were well stocked. Toilet paper was not. Anyone remember when someone said there was a shortage of TP on Johnny Carson? The next day there was a run on toilet paper. - Dave

I went to Walmart today for the 6-7am old people's shopping hour. I was able to buy TP for the first time since all this started and I was running low. They only had a couple of dozen packs, but it was sort of hidden in a side aisle. I went to the normal place for paper goods and they only had a small amount of paper towels. I saw a woman with toilet paper and she told be where to find it. I was getting some soup when somebody asked where I found it. I ran into this guy a few minutes later. He said, "thanks very much, I got the last one".

In an effort to control coronavirus they had a young lady cleaning the handles on the shopping carts as you entered the store. Of course this was after you got your cart and pushed it over to her. Good intentions I guess.

I went to Walmart today for the 6-7am old people's... (show quote)
I went to Walmart yesterday after my appointment at the lab to have some blood drawn for the doctor. I just wanted to drive-by to see how crowded it was and found there were a lot of empty parking spaces and hardly anybody outside. I was planning on going this morning during old people's hour but decided to go yesterday morning at a more reasonable time instead. Not many people in the store and several cashiers were waiting for customers to check out. Didn't see any TP but didn't need any. Glad I went yesterday instead of going at that ridiculous 6:00 o'clock in the morning.

I bear no ill will toward those people that are hoarding all the toilet paper and have emptied the shelves so I can’t have any. But it won’t hurt my feelings if a couple of months from now, when they open a new package of TP, they find it infested with silverfish and cockroaches.
