When you said he gave you a big thumbs I assume it was an online conversation you had. One thing I like to do in similar situations is to ask for a phone # and a good time to call to work out all the little details before committing to anything. I kinda get either good vibes or bad vibes about the deal in a one on one friendly chat. It's very rare that my sixth sense lets me down. If they don't want to give out their # then I offer them mine. No chat no deal. I can sniff out a scammer much easier over the phone

I agree completely - I do the same thing - buying or selling.

Lots of people don't live night and day on this site or their computer in general. Certainly, our 'buyer' might be skeptical about the 'purchase' until the bag arrives, even if the order of things was handled a bit out of order.

Ok, I apologize for jumping to conclusions. I have received payment. You were all right. As the world gets darker each day, I will take this as a good omen.

Unexpected things happen. Maybe something came up that was more important than paying for your bag.

BTW....I'm off to spell my wife at the I.C.U. where my son has been for the past two weeks. I know about unexpected things happening.

Thanks for your concern. He's much better than two weeks ago when he was in critical condition, but still very sick. It's going to be awhile before this is resolved. He became seriously septic including his meninges which caused him to be confused. He's still running a low grade fever and on dialysis to help his kidneys.
