Very nice images. I have been wondering where in the world do you get all that paraphernalia? I consider all the images of excellent quality but some are outstanding like the first one and third just to mention two of them.
The fourth one is kind of unusual but very nicely done. I used to shoot those images backlighted using a white transparent material. No. 7 is also another of my favorites.
Given a chance to select one it could be very difficult for me to make a selection because all of them are excellent.

Thanks everyone. I have been going to Estate and Garage sales for many years. I am an American Picker on a very small scale. So after a while, Instead of just displaying my collection around the house it made sense to photograph it. Just throwing items together is easy if you find chaos interesting but that gets boring so I like to have a theme. To do that I found out it's difficult to make interesting themes unless you have an abundance of objects and material to choose from. You almost never have enough things that you need.
Composition is key as is lighting and focusing. I paint with light a lot in the camera and in post processing. And I will use Helicon focus and HDR occasionally. I use various things like risers to lift things up in the background. I am always looking for good table surfaces and sometimes I shoot the backgrounds separately and drop them in. The hardest thing for me is coming up with a new idea. The first few were easy but after that ideas were at a premium. My wife can spend hours and hours on jigsaw puzzles while I do this.
More than fantastic and more than excellent..!
excellent ......may provide ideas for some possible watercolors......
Great set of photos. If it wasn't for the smoke which I get the feeling was added to the scenes I would think I was at a museum of visual art.
A superb collection of well produced images. My hat's off to you.
Eye candy! I love the Prince Albert and the Beaded Glass. You've made me a fan of still life's. Very impressive work.

These take a lot of time if you let them. I think the more items you have the more you need good post processing to tie them all together. Also. in addition to the items themselves it is the table top itself and the background that have to be taken into account. Many times I have had to go back and reshoot an area just for the background and then have to patch it in.
Excellent work. Still life's are a great way to enjoy photography during the cold winter months.

I always enjoy looking at your still life photos. Maybe someday I will try one. I love old things.
These shots are absolutely great thanks for posting
