Don't distort this as being racist but orientals have smaller hands and maybe are drawn to a smaller footprint. Just being realistic...
What you say may be true, but although I am an American of Chinese heritage, I have been looking to dramatically reduce the weight a lug around ( mostly a D500 / 200-500 ). I have a Lumix G85 MFT with 3 lenses, but I recently made the switch from Nikon to a Sony aR7 iii and Sony a6100 with lenses. Turns out, the Olympus cameras are actually too small for my hands, and my hands are pretty small

Asian is the the correct word.
While this is off the topic of the great cameras that Olympus makes. I will make a comment on the use of Asian.
Asian is a terrible descriptor for people from the far east. Asia has probably the most diverse population of any convenient.
Asian might describe, for instance, people from Israel, Saudi Arabia, India, Bhutan, China, Japan and the various peoples that inhabit Siberia. In Russia alone there are about 120 languages spoken.

OK, this is my last word and I am DONE ! I brought up a legitimate question of maybe folks of smaller anatomical size preferring a camera/lens with a smaller footprint... Guess what, the PC police and the Libtards come out in full force and I am accused of being an Alabama Redneck. You can look back at ANY of my posts and see that I have always tried to be a calming influence in any heated discussion. But I am NOT a snowflake and will stand my ground if attacked.... I would venture to guess that my community in NE Alabama has a whole lot less problems than many of your larger so called progressive cities; we have sense of community and all races, sizes, colors etc. live in a manner respectful of each other. We have way too many so called PC police, Grammar police, and others that want to always put forth negativity. Smaller cameras for smaller hands is a legitimate question. Obviously honest opinions are not wanted so therefore I will just become a lurker or maybe just go away. You all have a nice day....

Just the word 'orientals' is considered in poor taste these days, as is lumping a whole group into one false generalization.
Merriman-Webster's definition of:
Asian: relating to, or characteristic of the continent of Asia or it's people.
Oriental: of, from, or characteristic of Asia, especially East Asia.

Prob. So....common sense. Kind of lacking these days with the PC police.
Could be wrong but I believe the generally accepted phrase is " of Asian descent.

As a senior, I marvel at what was once a non derogatory word now becoming poor taste. There is nothing false about coming from an area we then called the orient, nor anything derogatory (in my mind). Just another case of overly sensitive (I think). I've been called a lot worse.

Really? what would you consider calling 'orientals' that is politically correct? Enough of this already.

First, it should be " who "
Second, I am an American ( of Chinese descent ); I am not offended by "Oriental," "Asian," or the "Wuhan Virus "

I have used Olympus for several years. My hands are fairly large and I do just fine with my mft camera. Look at the OMD 1 Mark. II or III specs and reviews and pricing. Overall this little camera performs beautifully. Not to mention it can shoot up to 60 frames per second.
I was introduced to the Olympus Pen Ft in 1968 while stationed in Japan as a Marine. I still have that original camera and a number of lenses. That camera continues to take incredible images and works well. Remember, they also make top quality microscopes and other optics. I do not have a recent Olympus but certainly would consider one. I do collect cameras and have at least 20 Olympus cameras, different years.

Orientals? How about if we just call them ferners. Being from the south I can say it but now spell it. (:
