Very nice John. Great spending time with you at the Detroit Zoo.

Thanks very much, Jeff. Enjoyed that morning as well. These were taken 2 weeks after your visit. Wish we had this then. A lot is left to luck as you know.

ALL beautiful shots. Color is magnificent & I would be proud to put any shot on the wall. (I'm surprised that he didn't respond to your presence.)

Thank you very much, HS. Appreciate you commenting. The photos were taken in a zoo, so they are used to seeing, hearing and I'm sure smelling humans. Since they were born in a zoo, they don't know anything else. It is a very large and natural looking habitat, so it's great for the tigers and also photography. By the way, welcome to the forum.

The chance of measurable snow is greatly reduced in late March and April, I'm in the hunker-down age group and the zoo is closed, so no more photo opportunities. I thought I'd post a few of what I have. These are Amur (formerly Siberian) tigers, the largest of the big-cats. They are 2 ½ year old brothers born at the zoo in Columbus, Ohio.

Photos were taken at the 1+ acre Tiger Forest Habitat at the Detroit Zoo.
