One of the subjects I like to photograph is Statues. The reasons being that they are the creation of artist and are usually visually appealing. Another reason is that they don't move and are great for my 3D conversions.
I'm looking forward to how you work your artistic talents on this one.

Here is my try with your image. I thought I would try it as a B&W instead of color. I removed the flag pole, cropped it some keeping your original aspect ratio, and did a bit of cleanup on the brick wall.
