Admittedly, I cropped the top and right side a bit to improve the composition, and I used Lightroom to adjust shadows and highlights so both the bird and the fish could be easily seen without having to brighten the entire photograph. The background was naturally dark and wet and I wanted to show that while having the bird stand out. Nothing excessive as the photo didn't need it, but I try to avoid over saturation, over sharpening, etc. jak
