I still miss shooting Fast draw but I still shoot SASS matches several times a month. Just as much fun but miss all my old friends.

Very cool photo! How does anyone do any fast shooting with a single action revolver? I had a Ruger .22 caliber single action revolver. There was nothing fast about shooting it when you have to cock the hammer each time. You see people fanning a revolver in western movies but does that really work? I was never able to do that with my single action revolver.

A very neat shot. I tried fanning my Ruger .44 mag. once on a bet with a BIL. I won the bet but, it took awhile before the palm of my left palm healed.

Thanks CO,, I do not know anything about guns but it was unbelievable how fast they could draw and shoot and hit a target.

Rusty, I can tell you about anything you want to know about a single action, I have been shooting one since I was 11 and I am 70 now. I have been shooting in competition for over 25 years now. They are lots of fun and you would be surprised how fast some people can shoot one. Oh, fanning a sixgun was invented for the movies and it is really hard to hit anything doing it. I have lots of friends who are a lot faster than me. www.sassnet.com.
