Excellent composition Mark, the bridge works both in colour and b/w. My pick is the colour with the b/w very close.
Thanks so much Sylvia. So glad you liked them and thanks again for your opinion.

I enjoy B&W photography but in this case I prefer the color version simply because the background to the bridge is too dark to do justice to B&W.

Thanks so much for your opinion bwana.
This photo is a great challenge. The whole image is of the same tone, except some of the clouds with the whites. I'm wondering if there is a way in PP to seperate the stone bridge from the background to enhance contrast, the stall-worth of B/W. There are 3 basic zones of tone, the sky, the bridge and its shadow, and the reflection in the foreground. What a fun project. The color separates out the bridge structure better, but might be better if it were lighter.
Frustrating traveling on a bus because you don't get to "work the scene" but this is a great capture on the fly!
Well from what I've seen you have lots of beautiful memories to revisit. Welcome home and be safe.
For me, the older the landmark, the more it tends to favor b&w treatment.
Both beautiful shots but I like the B&W best. The texture in the bridge is wonderful in to my old eyes is more striking in the B&W. Good job. I have never taken a good image from a tour bus window!

Thanks hogilbert. I really appreciate your opinion.
Very tough choice but in the B&W the clouds make the image much more dramatic.
