Yes the flu did kill 20,000 Americans last year. But so far this Coronavirus flu has NOT killed 20,000 Americans. Yet there is almost panic in the streets because of the media spreading misinformation with the Democrats doing nothing FOR America except but help to spread panic by saying President Trump is doing nothing about the epidemic. I understand what you are saying about non reporting but it is pretty hard to not report deaths due to the virus. From what I have read there were 52 deaths in America as of yesterday or a couple of days ago. In a country with over 330 Million people those deaths, while a tragedy, are not very many. I am poor at math so I will let you or others come up with a percentage of Americans who have died relative to the rest of us. I am going way out on a limb here thinking somewhere in the range of 1/0000003%. Of course just a WAG on my part.
