Water Color Effect

Learned this new to me water color effect. All done in photoshop, 90% of the effect is created with Filter Gallery effects. Too many steps to lay it out here. I can pump up colors but then I think I would have to call it an Oil Painting effect.

I posted this some time back. It is an old 1890's Saloon that is still being used today.

That filter can go over the top, but I like how you kept it subtle.

Thank you. I actually used 4 filters + other effects to get this look.

I kept looking for more information and I started to mix two peoples techniques into one of my own.
Here is the final results.

I remember this ultra-photogenic saloon! This second posting, did you just do it? If yes, can you explain how you achieved the white space and the more prominent brush strokes around the edges? I love that look.

I'll see what I can do. I am trying to get figure out how to do it with fewer steps.
