Today's Sony A99 sweep pano - Confusion Corner Stuart Fla.

Been planning this shot for some time......confluence of 6 streets and the railroad tracks near the downtown area of Stuart - the infamous "Confusion Corner".

This is pretty close to what I envisioned but I may make another attempt and change a few things. Shows about 150 degrees angle left to right. My backside is butted up against a tree so I really cannot get back further.

Sony A99 in sweep pano mode, Tamron SP 35-105 f2.8 @ 35mm handheld, about 8 exposures stitched IN CAMERA as JPEG's in the landscape orientation. While standing on a short ladder to gain perspective. Late afternoon, sun behind me.
1/250, f11, ISO 100, PP in Elements 9.

Wonderful shot. It reminds me of Stuart, 40 years ago. This part of town really hasn't changed in all that time, and you captured it. Confusion Corner - ah memories.
Thanks

Thanks Raz ! .......I thought it was important to include the water tower - but in doing so it is limiting how much I can get on the left side of the image - that is what is frustrating for me now .....and I really want to avoid doing everything manually - so, I may be using a wider angle lens in the portrait orientation on the next version.

Either the wider lens or the tree has to go
BTW: I've visited your website more than once and have almost made my way thru it, enjoying every image immensely.
You're a talented photog.

Interesting shot Larry. I agree that shooting that image in Portrait mode might give you a better result.
