Beautiful flowers. You don't have to live in North Carolina to have allergies. Living in California, I take allergy medications too. The last time I was in North Carolina, (Raleigh) was during September. I had no allergies then.
Sometimes we get it bad too in Mich.

Thank you so much!! Plants are just starting to bloom so I will have more variety as the season progresses. If the Corona virus will hurry and go away I can go to the botanical garden and really have some fun. Please, stay safe during this pandemic.

Thank you!!!! Growing up in El Paso, Texas there was little to trigger my allergies but here I have the pleasure of being allergic to just about everything...trees, grasses, ragweeds and dogs and cats so I am fighting year round.
Good luck at keeping your allergies at bay.

I hate it!!! You can feel the grit on you mouth and in your mouth if you talk or open your mouth for any reason. Hopefully it will be gone soon.
Thank you for stopping to look!!!

I understand your frustration. My last assignment in the Air Force was Seymour Johnson AFB, Goldsboro, NC. We arrived in the evening just before Easter 1986. The next morning, my silver car was yellow with pine pollen. Great place to live if you can stand the pines.

Yep, the yellow pine pollen will be here shortly - everything will be yellow for a week or two until a good rain finally washes it away.
Even with the Corona virus issue, I think you’ll be safe in the Ralston arboretum - lots of open spaces and very few people. There’s also Duke gardens in Durham, the rose garden next to the Raleigh Little Theatre, the small WRAL garden, the arboretum in Chapel Hill and the day lily garden behind the Jaycee park later in the year for a start.
Most excellent to include sundry subjects, luv. Others should take notice.
I am in Oriental, a few miles from you. My gray truck is yellow. I am surprised at the amount of pollen here. It seems too early. But, I guess a mild winter helped.
Wow, I take it that is pollen dust on the car. On occasion, I have the same issues. The flower photos are quite nice.
