Couldn't help myself. Here are pics of a 64 Impala, a 67 Impala, a 60 Impala and an Impala of unknown year behind the models with the happy guy. Shortly after this pic was taken, the guy had a heart attack but recovered nicely. First one at car show in Seattle and the others in Southern California.

The '60 Impala is actually a '59. (The third one down)

Cool. I'm surprised that the door handles aren't shaved....

For those who love old cars, please do not take this the wrong way. I assume you see beauty and experience nostalgia? I only see negatives. Could you list the reasons for owning a nearly 60 year old vehicle? I assume, again, that they are emotional and have nothing to do with practicality.

People probably don't understand the things you might like. Everybody has something they like or they are dead. It's a good thing we all don' like the same thing or there would not be enough to go around.

Nope. The '59 didn't have round tail lights. He is correct that it is a '60.

I finally was able to purchase a car that I have been wanting for a very long time. Can't wait to take this thing cruising to car shows. All photos taken with a Samsung Galaxy S10.

Lovely Lowrider! These Impalas usually restored by Mexican car clubs in this area of the CA desert are well done and fun to watch going up and down with their adjustable suspensions. Cruize on!

The tail lights have been changed but the car is a '59. Google a '59 and a '60 and observe from the rear. It is a '59.

I stand corrected. Good catch.

I had a new 1964 Impala. Great ride. In 1972 at low mileage it was t-boned and totaled when my son was with me. Insurance would only pay $800.00 to replace. Luckily my son's doctor told me he would not release my son until insurance paid enough on his care to make up for replacement cost. He had been through same ordeal.

The rear is sitting way too low, looks like the rear leaf springs are broken!

Wow, that car's cleaner than the ones I used to work on in the 60s. I always liked the '63s best of that group of Chevys--I still had my '57 then. Nice shots and good buy and good-by...

Beautiful set. What's it get, 5 gallons to the mile?

Didn't matter in '63. Gas was 30 cents/gallon. Neat ride. Remember to pump up the rear end, if you hit a pot hole when it's that low. you will lose your rear end

My wife had a '63 Impala when we met. Hers had a 327 with a 4bbl and was a 4 door model. Unfortunatell the frame got a bit too rusty and we had to get rid of it. It was a nice car otherwise.

Dude, it's a lowrider! It also has hydraulic suspension so it can go bouncy bounce.
