Arizona do not change the time. However the Navajo nation change the time along with federal government. The Hopi nation who live on the Navajo nation do not change the time, they stick with the state. The Hopi children go to school on the Navajo nation. Hope the get to school for it starting on Monday
Simple solution! Everyone set their clocks back 30 minutes next November... and be done with it. Then the lovers of DST and the haters can all be satisfied and we can be done with the nonsense of moving time. Time is only a percieved thing anyway.
The real question is who invented time?
Those of us who get up at 2am ABD need to get to sleep at 8pm hate daylight savings time. Hard to get to sleep when it's bright as heck.

I really don’t need time, never wear a watch. My life is full of people who tell me where to be, when to be there and what to do😊

Easy answer....Doc Brown.
Split the difference, add a half hour to Standard Time and make everyone mad. Then leave it alone.
DST was instituted early in WWII to accommodate armaments production work shifts. A part of the problem was worker transportation. The pre must be some DST articles around, maybe Wiki. One backside is at 12 the sun is not at high North. Here in Minneapolis it is obvious as we are at nearly 90 degrees West.
We had full time DST in the 70’s and people hated it. I remember the news showing children waiting for the school bus in the dark. I haven’t seen any mention of our experiment with year-round DST 40+ years ago. People have short memories.
