Today State Park and Visitor Center is celebrating Harriet Tubman Day through exhibits that are informative and emotive, providing an in depth understanding of Tubman’s early years spent in Maryland's Choptank River region and her legacy as a leader, liberator and humanitarian in the resistance movement of the Underground Railroad. Last Saturday, I visited this place with my family last Saturday. Here are some photos which give an idea how the exhibit looks like from inside. Thanks.

Plan on stopping here on the way home from snowboarding in FL. This was a perfect enticement.

This is an interesting museum and well worth the stop. It is also just across the road from Blackwater Wildlife Refuge.

Thank you for sharing these images, Mohammed. I did not realize there was a celebration and exhibit in her honor. She was a remarkable woman and you have captured the essence of the exhibition well.

You are most welcome Sue. I am glad you liked these images. It was an honor for me to witness the , you may call it museum about that great woman. Actually, last year I had visited that place with my wife. This year my son also accompanied us. He started telling the story of this legend woman which I did not know. Then paid more attention to the statutes and paintings and took several photos.
