A few days ago when I posted photos of the Mesa Arch someone asked about the Washer Woman Arch. For sure, with the light conditions then, it didn't show up. So I decided to show you some photos I took about 40 years ago where the Washer Woman is very visible. Light and shadows make the difference.

Great Set ...I like the shadows and lighted areas of them a lot.

Lovely pictures of the Washer Woman through the Mesa Arch. I also got lucky taking some shots there.

Thank you Frank Beaston. It's late or I'd be taking my time going through all your Africa Photos. They are outstanding. I put the Mesa Arch pictures up just to be able to relate to the topic. I'm new to sharing online.

Beautiful images of spectacular country. Still standing today??
Often these formations collapse over time?

Definitely standing today! I can't tell that they have changed any in 50 years.
