Great shots all of them. The shots of the mature bull draw me in. Hard to imagine how a grazing animal survives in such deep snow.

They use that big head and neck hump muscles to sweep down below the snow and graze. Forty below is sustainable.

We went in from the north. We were there in early February.

That is where we stayed and just drove the road for 2 days. We ended up leaving early due to a snow storm coming in and my husband had to get home...
