My Spouse...

You're lucky, Bob. Your wife must have been a cheap date!!!

Just a reminder, the cost was supposed to be under $100. That eliminated both my wife and firstborn!!

A pair of JBL Century 100’s.
Bought them as a graduation present for myself (more than $100.00) and still use them.

I had a pair of Frazier Mark VII's that I got rid of because my wife said they were too big and ugly in the living room. Great sound. Big mistake.

Compact Discs CD'S weren't introduced until the early 1980'S.

I can't say I have anything I cherish from the 1970'S other than a few memories but here's a few things; highschool diploma and class ring, record albums, Dual 1219 turntable that still works, my wallet which I bought in Hatteras NC, my .444 Marlin, although designed in the mid 1960'S, my Marlin was made in the 1970'S and I acquired it in the late 1970'S.

Browning Hi-Power made in Belgium!

My $65 Vibroplex Lightening Bug. It's amazing that when looking at it sitting in its place of honor in the bookcase the fond memories it brings up. And when taking it down to hold, my fingers start trying to twist the imaginary knobs on the equipment it was associated with so long ago.
