Just ordered the book. Thank you.

If you want a head start, the author has many informative and entertaining videos on You Tube. Just Google Ian Dunbar.

Mrs Moonhawk and I are getting very excited about our new pup, who we pick up in two weeks. We really miss our old one though. He died of cancer at only eight years old. Be very careful what you feed him. I don't know about toy Aussies, but the regular ones can have some drug and chemical sensitivities. That may or may not be what happened to Rider, but we're not taking any chances with the new pup.

There has been a lot of research on Aussies in the last few years, and there are some vets who specialize in the breed. Here is a link to our breeder's website, you may find a local vet listed there:

Also. check out the "pet protector" she has. A non-chemical flea and tick repellant. You living in Florida that may be an issue. Here at high altitude in New Mexico, less so but we're going to use one.

Hope I don't come off as being pedantic but I've learned so much I wish I'd known when we got Rider. All the best.

No apology necessary. I like dogs and I like photos, so dog photos - especially good ones like this - are great to see.
